Evidence, not adjectives.
Granted patents, peer-reviewed publication and FPGA results, in one place. Every result is tagged by how it was obtained.
What runs in silicon today.
All results on AMD Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC ZCU208 boards (XCZU48DR), one transmitting and one receiving over a board-to-board RF link.
Transmitter and full receiver running in the fabric.
No host processor in the loop: acquisition, synchronisation, detection and decoding all run in the RFSoC's programmable logic. The receiver keeps up at full duty with no dropped frames, using about a quarter of the device's logic.
Silicon matches the model
Captured packets played back through the FPGA reproduce the hardware model bit for bit, so every simulated result is tied to the silicon.
Decoded in the FPGA
Transmit and receive images complete from BPSK to 64-QAM, with 16- and 64-QAM frames decoded in the FPGA after FEC.
Cold-start acquisition
Every packet detected and locked from a cold start, then decoded entirely in the FPGA.
Proven, FPGA in progress
Demonstrated on RFSoC hardware with host-side processing and in full emulation. The FPGA image is being written.
Granted in seven jurisdictions.
One patent family, Communication System of High Capacity, invented by Dr. Michel Fattouche. Priority date June 7, 2019, with protection running to about 2040. Further applications are pending.
Communication System of High Capacity
The foundational MTF patent covering the core spreading process. Complete documentation for every jurisdiction is available under NDA.
Peer-reviewed.
A Novel Communication System of High Capacity
M. Fattouche
Introduces the time-limited system behind MTF and shows that doubling its capacity needs only a fixed-multiple increase in SNR. Designs built on it for centralized multiple-access networks outperform conventional ones by an order of magnitude.
